Crocs in Thailand
They can typically be found in estuaries and mangrove swamps near the coast. The Siamese crocodile is another type that can be found in Thailand, though they are much rarer and mainly reside in remote areas of the country. Both of these species can reach large sizes and have been known to attack humans, so it is important to be cautious around them.
But this croc was captured by my iPhone only inside the Bungchawak Aquarium area nearby Suphanburi.

Thailand exportiert viele Zuchtkrokodile nach China. Auf dem Fischmarkt in Kunming sieht man sie lebend in großen Becken, das Maul mit Kabelbinder verschlossen und wenn dann ein Kunde kommt wird ein Krokodil aus dem Becken gehoben, mit Äxten erschlagen und mit einer Kettensäge zerteilt und das Fleisch verkauft. Ein Händler erzählte mir dass er 1000 Yuan für ein aus Thailand importiertes Krokodil zahlt.LG, Herbert
