Crown Imperial

Crown Imperial (also known as Kaiser’s Crown) is a plant native to Asian Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan and the Himalayan foothills.

Several cultivars have been developed for garden use with colours ranging from scarlet to yellow, but the flowers of the wild form are originally orange-red.

The plant has a distinctly odour that repels mice, moles and other rodents.
