Christie,This moth was left behind by a particular bird, called a Shrike, it impales its victims on thorn, fence barbs, ect. And later it comes to feed on them,.. This one was a forgotten victim from the "Texas Butcher"..... :)
The web threads are old just as the mummified moth....
