    I disagree this time. If I crop off the bottom - then , yes, it does emphasise the convergence of plough-lines ; and therefore it accentuates the pattern of converging lines. But when i took this picture, i suppose i was mesmerised by the length of the lines of the plough, ( as much as by the converging lines). I think that keeping a longer format, and keeping much of the foreground - helps emphasise the length and distance of the ploughed line. I was also stimulated by the crumbly structure of the soil - which is more apparent at the bottom of the picture. But - it's partly down to personal taste. I think praise is due to the farmer. It seems to me that he must have taken great pride in his work. Mark

    Here I feel the same as in the other photo. I would cut one third from the lower part. Regards Marlis
