Das Himmelmoor liegt im Kreis Pinneberg, in Quickborn und angrenzenden Gemeinden. Mit ursprünglich rund 600 Hektar Mooroberfläche war es das größte Hochmoor Schleswig-Holsteins. Bis 2018 wurde im Moor noch Torf abgebaut.
