you are right, Alfred. Batanes is found in the northernmost part of the Philippines. It is closer to Taiwan than Manila. :) It has four seasons, while the rest of the country only has two. Very Magical!Alfred Lingelbach 27/07/2011 10:03
the Batanes Islands are really in the north, Taiwan is not so far away. Maybe the climatic is of subtropical influence. And I agree, it looks more than Scotland or Ireland than the Philippines.Alfred

I was also in awe when I saw the place. so different from the rest of the country.the topography (grassy and hilly) is like this because it is often visited by typhoons. i think. as a result, they only plant root crops.

I can´t belive that this is on the Philippines.At look like Ireland or Scotland. Where are the tree´s ?
