Leider nicht ich, aber meine Bilder sind immerhin aus einigen tausend Einsendungen einer 30 köpfigen Jury aufgefallen. Dafür gab es eine namentliche Erwähnung, ein Zertifikat und einen Eintrag in das Awards Buch 2006.

International Photography Awards Announces winners of the 2006 Competition.

Los Angeles, California., 10/30/2006 --- International Photography Awards (IPA) announced the winners of this year's IPA Photographer of the Year awards. Marcus Stroh of Germany was Awarded: Honorable mention in Architecture in non-professional category for "Solutions" image (Sub Category: Interiors) and "Frankfurt - Darkviews (air,ground,water)" image (Sub Category: Cityscapes).

About the IPA Competition:
The Pilsner Urquell International Photography Awards Competition is the world's largest most prestigious photography contest for both professional and amateur photographers (http://www.photoawards.com).

The fifteen winners of the main categories (eight professionals and seven non-professionals) will compete for IPA's top award of International Photographer of the Year. Those fifteen will be invited to attend the Lucie Awards (http://lucieawards.com), where one will be announced as the grand winner, earning the coveted Lucie and a cash prize of $10,000 provided by AtEdge. In addition, the seven non-professional category winners will compete for the Discovery of the Year Award, for which one will win the Lucie and $5,000 provided by Pilsner Urquell.

The judges will also award Certificates of Honorable Mention to acknowledge talent as they deem fit.
