What does the “Navel of Mekhong” look like? You have to come and find out at Kaeng Ahong near Wat Ahong Silawat. Kaeng Ahong is the deepest area of the Mekhong River. The water in that area flows rapidly, especially in the rainy season when the water flow forming a large circular current. Millions years ago the river brought the big boulders weightings hundreds of tons.
