Namibia- Sossus Vlei
Nach dem starken Regen um Sossus Vlei war früh morgens der Himmel bedeckt und die Duenen waren von Wolken umhüllt. Beim Hell werden zeigte sich dieses fast unglaubliche Schauspiel, ein Sonnenstrahl fand eine Lücke und "brennt" auf der Duene. Ich hatte zuerst gezögert dieses Bild zu bringen, meinte Keiner glaubt mir was da geschehen ist, habe aber eine Serie von 6 Bildern, vom Anfang bis zum Ausglühen. Dieses Bild liegt in der Mitte als das Glühen am stärksten war.

After the heavy rains in the vicinity of Sossus Vlei the morning was overcast with clouds enshrouding the dunes. As it got light there was this sudden "burning" caused by a ray of sunlight which managed to find an opening through the clouds. I have hesitated to submit this shot as I felt that no one would believe such a dramatic happening but I have a series of 6 shots depicting the beginning of the light burst until it lost it's glow. This shot is in the middle when the glow was at it's most intense.
