Medieval reminder 2
Greece North Aegean Sea Chios island Mesta village.
Chios is a big and rich island in North Aegean Sea loaded with history since the ancient times. The island thrived especially in medieval period under the Genovese occupation. As a sequence to that many of its villages bear an architectural desigh that reflects characteristically their medieval origin.

I really like that those youn people are wlking towards the light at the end of this alley through the ancient buildings. apart from their clothes and a few bits of modern paraphenalia this looks very old.Excellent tones and detail retained in what could have been difficult light.
