My little companion & my route
A short summary of how my route looked like.
In contrast to my previous Scotland trips, I decided this time to stay at least to nights at each destination, thus being able to explore the area around in different ways, finding new places...
My little companion was a faithful little "bug" with CD player incorporated, a very important item during trips as a lonely driver...

wenn ich mir das so anschaue befällt wehmut mein gemüt.2014 waren wir das letzte mal in schottland und ich befürchte, es könnte das letzte mal gewesen sein.
die umstände haben sich dramatisch geändert:
- mit den unterkünften ist es viel schwieriger geworden
- der straßenverkehr ist zwischenzeitlich extrem belastend
- meine frau hat erhebliche rückenprobleme bei langen autofahrten (fliegen tut sie nicht)
- die kosten steigen und steigen
ja, was soll man tun, man muß sich eben anpassen :-(

Looks like the makings of an enjoyable trip, including "stretching out" with your own schedule - so important to photography in conditions as changeable as can exist in Scotland - and, of course, good to have the "right" music along.Best regards,
