Norway | arctic flora |
Another day on the island of Magerøya, in the vicinity of the North Cape, which is the very end of northern continental Europe. I was on a hike into the mountains near Skipsfjord, Honningsvåg. It is not just rocks and some grass, it is also wild flowers in beautiful colors. Here I found purple saxifrage (Saxifraga oppositifolia).
Von unserem Campingplatz aus bin ich in die Einsamkeit der Berge gewandert. Dabei habe ich die wunderschöne Flora entdeckt, die die Nordkappinsel neben Felsen und Gras zu bieten hat. Hier ist es der Gegenblättrige Steinbrech (Saxifraga oppositifolia).
