Of Course this means war!
I was busy photographing a completely different scene at the pond when I suddenly heard this racket behind me. Two coots started fighting and then suddenly all the Coot in the pond rushed to this spot. Apparently they can't jest let a good fight go, they had to join in :-)

I have seen them do just that Deryck... fiesty little devils when they get going.An excellent capture of these two having a bundle in... and just look at those claws, they could really inflict some damage.......
