ragnarök, götterdämmerung, twilight of the gods: my first thoughts, not very antique greece, i'm afraid… ; ) but that huge and soft blanket of a storm cloud seemingly letting itself sink down on earth, and the ocean preparing to parry it with its own surge of a powerful undertow or maelstrom – ah, so moodily apocalyptical and worthy of an entrance of the gods… very epically powerful, alexander! greetings, sabine. p.s.: love the patch of light on the horizon, and how the pier looks like a fortress or some mighty stairs leading into the water.Christos Banos 02/02/2015 11:45

There is still darkness in the sky and the sea, but over the horizon the dawn is spreading her glorious light ready to start a new day. The light on the water as it slides up and down the beach is excellent.A beautiful scene.
