Das Foto entstand bei einem spontanen Ausflug zum Tetraeder in Bottrop. Das ganze Konstrukt befindet sich auf der Halde Beckstraße, welche etwa 110 Meter hoch ist.
Das Bild wurde von der mittleren Plattform in süd-östliche Richtung geschossen und zeigt im Vordergrund die noch aktive Kokerei aus Bottrop sowie die davor liegende Skihalle.
Im Hintergrund erstreckt sich die Skyline von Essen und Mülheim.
