sailor's tales

A Sailor went sailing
One stormy night.

the black sky was lit by lightning.
A wave rushed up

And his boat was overturned.
The Sailor awoke

To find himself lying
In the arms of a beautiful maiden.

Trust in me
And I'll take you to places never seen.

Oh beautiful maid
Please take me to shore

For a wife and children have I.
Forget them now,

She said with a cunning smile.
I'll show you sights

Never seen before,
But you must give me all your trust.

but a promise I make
To take you to your true home this night.

He smiled up,
She smiled down,

And his trust was given to her.
She held him tighter

So to not lose him in the storm.
Her smile turned

To evil insanity
As she dragged him beneath the waves.

They disappeared
And the water engulfed them.

Sailors tell the story
Though how they heard

No one will ever discover.
The story of a lost Sailor

And his beautiful maiden killer.
