A fantastic range of classical concerts held at this refurbished concert hall.
The province of Santiago de Cuba, despite its rich tradition and cradle of great figures that stand out in Cuban music, lacked an appropriate installation for the concert of symphonic, choral and chamber music, constituting an old desire of the people of Santiago. The provincial direction of culture governed by Eduardo Toura, took as an alternative the construction of this institution, in the ruins of the Nuestra Señora de los Dolores Church, carrying out the conversion of this on 5th of December 1986.
