kick ass here...

definately all of the faces are equally important here.... on the left... the upper right.... all of them. the color on the face in the upper right is freakin' MEGA-cool.......

the faces bring abstraction in terms of the shapes... they bring expression/emotion... a sense of this place....

AND, they bring coolness/style...............

a giant thing in my opinon...

killer color here..............................

Hallo Dirk das Foto ist für mich perfekt so wie es ist. Ohne das Licht von hinten würde es seine ganze Stimmung und Fröhlichkeit verlieren was könnte besser zusammen passen als ein schönes Lachen und der Sonnenschein dazu gibt es noch einen schönen dezenten Reflex was will mann mehr wären die Gesichter durch das Gegenlicht unterbelichtet würde ich deine Kritik annehmen aber so kann ich mich nicht damit anfreunden.Die abgeschnitten Gesichter tragen die Information mit ins Bild die erzählt das eine ganze Gruppe von Kindern um mich herrum versammelt war und gleichzeitig rahmen sie das bild ein!!!Trotzdem danke fürs Kommentar

Yes I think this is a great shot the way it is. The children on the side reinforce the fact that they're part of a crowd. Sometimes opinion shouldn't be expressed as fact - if this were reduced to another's idea of a "good photo" it would be nothing but bland stock photography. As it is, it's full of life.

Dirk is too critical Kids are kids and that is how I judge the photo so simple so happy it's just magic and you have captured that.Well done.

i know about the hard circumstances when you shoot school kids ... you don't have a second to make your shot ... I'd have cropped away the two faces on the left side 'cause i think they are not really important for the pic ...
next time you might wanna get the sun in your back and don't worry: the kids will turn towards the camera ... that's for sure ... ;-)

ps: to me the copyright is a killer ... :-(
