Shwedagon Pagoda in full splendor
The Shwedagon pagoda is a wonder to see. The beauty if the architecture and design will take the breath away, as will the sparkling, light catching jewels. This wondrous holy place, filled with history and legend.
Once a year the pagoda is covered with mats to clean and polish the whole golden surface of the stupa.
My first destination which every time I came to visit the country Burma.
