Ten-armed cuttlefish

This cephalopod came very close to us to satisfy his curiosity and to enjoy the bubbling from our regulator. In front of enemies, she uses an inkjet that opens into the mantle cavity. A cloud of ink nebulises the attacker's vision and probably also the sense of smell, while the sepia can retreat backwards from the action. The octopus has eight arms around the mouth and two long tentacles. With these she likes to catch crustaceans, but also other sea creatures.
The sepia is called octopus. But it is not fish and should rather be called an ink snail, as it is clearly closer to the snails than to the fish.
My photo I captured during the security stop under water in the depth of five meters.
