The desert
Deserts cover more than one-fifth of Earth's land area, and they are found on every continent. A place that receives less than 25 centimeters (10 inches) of rain per year is considered a desert.
It's amazing the kind of changes a desert is going through at different hours of the day and the variety of exciting pictures can present under the extremes of heat and light. Even at the highest mid-day point a direct sun light can surprisingly modify the open and endless sand surface.
