An interesting and somewhat disturbing series, Alexander. Your graphic manipulation seems appropriate, you show a strong contrast - the apparent beauty of colors and shapes, and the primitive make-shift settlement that houses it.
Interesting how those simple huts and streets are kept in shape and colors. Many streets in cities with proper houses show neglect and are full of garbage - not in the tin settlement you show.

  Thanks my dear friend Felix, for your attention and comments on my work. Yes, it's true that high definition strong contrast and colours become quite often indispensable in documentary work. Since my early photographic yeras, especially on b+w film photography, high contrast was very much to my liking.

The desire for something beautiful aesthetic is probably a universal one
Your capture Remonds ne to what Saint Exepury wrote in "The Little Prince":
"It makes the desert beautiful to have an oasis".
Your Photo underlines that streetfotograhpy and colours work together quite well. Teils a Story.

  Thanks very much my dear frind Manuele for your attention to my series. You are an old friend of my work and myself of yours. Besides the so appropriate and beautiful statement of St Exepury, I can add a similar one of Milan Kundera while travelling on a train and looking from the window to a very pleasant but, eventually,becoming monotonous and tiring scenery. When, at last, the rugged, ugly and miserable view of a poor village intervened, he exploded enthusiastically: " At last, this ugly pinch made the whole thing so attractive and genuinely beautiful and and brought my dream back to reality."
