Unknown Beauty
I found this butterfly in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and cannot find her species anywhere .... H e l p :-)))

Anartia fatima, the banded peacock, is a butterfly in the family Nymphalidae. It is commonly found in south Texas, Mexico, and Central America but most studied in Costa Rica. This butterfly prefers subtropical climates and moist areas, such as near rivers. It spends much of its time in second-growth woodlands.

The diversity of butterfly species you have shown us is enviable. In Northern Germany we have only a few species, which we can find periodically. So i can't help to find out this species of butterfly.Warm regards Bernd
