Wat Saam Prasob in the water

When the Khaolaem dam was built, whole area of Sangklaburi district was flooded include the temple. The senior abbot decided to move the temple to the hillside. So, the old temple was drown until the top of the temple, only the ordination hall had left.

Only the ruins of the temple and houses remain. Nowadays, the old monastery under water became the famous attraction for us the visitors. Because the water level had reduced, the whole upper temple building was appeared.
