Canyonland
Der Canyonlands National Park liegt in der Naehe von Moab in direkter Nachbarschaft zum Arches National Park. Das Gebiet
wurde am 12. September 1964 zum National Park erklaert und umfasst eine Flaeche von 1.366 km².

Der Colorado und der Green River haben tiefe Canyons in das
Colorado-Plateau geschnitten, und teilen den Park in drei Teile
auf:

- Island in the Sky im Norden
- The Needles im Suedosten
- The Maze im Westen
