Welcome image to Changwat Loei
Changwat the Thai word for a province, Loei is one of the most sparsely populated.
A big sign on the highway side welcomes the visitors to the mountainous province which Thai people sometimes call it Switzerloei.
The statue shows an image of the "Phi Ta Khon", a festival held in the city of Dan Sai.
