Whal sharks head at Richelieu Rock
Richelieu Rock in the Andaman Sea at Thailand coast is one of the highlights for all us scuba diverrs. The encounter with the whale shark is happened quite often.
The iconic whale shark, the largest fish in the sea, was reclassified as an endangered species earlier this month, due to recent declines in its population. ... No one knows how many whale sharks are left, but rough estimates put their numbers somewhere in the tens of thousands worldwide.

danke Ortwin, danke David, der Richelieu Rock bei den Inseln Koh Surin ist bekannt für seinen Fischreichtum und den seit Jahren immer wieder tummelnden Walhai. Ich schätze, er/sie ist etwa 12 Meter lang und er/sie hat sich offensichtlich an uns Sporttaucher gewöhnt.
