My name is BJ Andrade-Ward and photography is my passion.
IsaBob Photography is the name of my company and it is derived from the two people who most inspired me to find my inner muse and pursue my own creative outlet.
My fraternal Grandmother, Isabell, was a very talented artist who always challenged me to carve my own creative path no matter what.
My dad, Bob, was a gifted photographer and teacher, and he taught me to look at the world around me in my own way. That is where my tag line, "Just As I See It" comes from. That also reflects the fact that I do not do much in terms of manipulating my photographs to get them to look just right. If they do not look good coming out of the camera, I will generally move on to images that represent my vision of a particular subject.
I do a number of different styles and types of photography. I do not have a certain genre that I want to shoot exclusively. Some would say that seems too random – I feel that approach allows me to explore different styles and techniques thus honing my craft to expand my skills and repertoire.
I am always interested in meeting new people and finding new challenges!
