Franz Mohr
Franz Mohr, now 83 years old looks back to a unbelievable life as the head piano technician for piano the manufacture of Steinway & Sons. Born in Düren, Germany,he immigrated to New York and from 1962 to 1989 he accompanied Wladimir Horowitz throughout the world to most of his concerts. Beside that he worked for Artur Rubenstein and many other famous pianists. This weeka local newspaper asked to shoot some photosan and so l could listen to all his stories he had to tell....see also http://www.crescendo.org/index.php?id=187&language=en
