Beneath the Veil
She stands erect and carries the weight of her immediate world on her head. She is the Female Atlas. She is left to bare the work while the men seek enlightenment. We pass, our eyes miss, but I see her curiosity surface. Her yes open and her lips swell and mouth parts as we pass. Soon its just a thought to hold until forgotten with the endless layers of life's questions. In time they will surface, but there will be nothing to envision.
