Regelmäßig im Unterricht der Englisch-Leistungskurse der 70er- und 80er-Jahre besprochen - als die Schüler es noch verstanden haben.
Die Klippe ist eine Metapher für den Übergang von der Kindheit zum Erwachsensein und Holden Caulfield - die Hauptperson des Romans - will die Kinder davor bewahren, in die (für ihn verlogene) Welt der Erwachsenen zu stürzen.
Tolles Foto, Dieter, aber im Zusammenhang mit dem Roman zu bedrohlich.

"Der Fänger im Roggen" ist auch ein tolles Buch. LG Brigitte
