Ochi-Tag
Foto zum ??? - Tag der heute (28.10) in Griechenland begangen wird. ??? heißt nein, wie vielleicht manche noch von der Abstimmung während der Eurokrise wissen. 1940 war es das nein von Regierungschef Metaxas zum Ultimatum Mussolinis, der einmarschieren und strategisch wichtige Orte in Nordgriechenland besetzten wollte. Ein paar Stunden nach dem griechischen Nein überquerten Mussolinis Truppen die Grenzen und der Griechisch-Italienische Krieg begann.

....which was victorious for the Greeks and led to the occupation of south Albania by Greece, only to remain as Greek minority(North Epirus) in the present state of Albania following the post-war negotiations and....map differentiations...!Bloody wars may leave victims on battlefields but,often, the real victors are declared spreading maps on the tables.!!
