Sandbad -Etoscha
Nach dem ausgiebigen Bad ging die Elefantenkuh und ihr Kalb zielbewusst zu dieser kleinen Sandmulde zwischen den vielen Steinen. Das Kleine "rollte" sich sofort im Sand zu ihren Fuessen und die Mama "trompetete"den Sand auf sich. Ganz offentsichtlich war das ihr Ritual nach dem Bad.
After their bath at the waterhole this elephant cow and her calf headed straight for the little patch of sand among the many stones. The calf immediately rolled in the sand at her feet and the mother "blew" the sand over herself. Quite obviously their routine after a bath. Delightful to see.
