a place to return
We administrators recently added a new subsection to Special: "My favorite place". Thats, because we often favour certain places we want to return to one day, or we do from time to time anyway. Show us your favorite place here!

Tamariu in Catalonia is a place, where I return to as often as possible. Due to the pandemic it took us two years to come back to this place.
It is not spectacular. Tamariu is a remote, small former fishing village, nestled into a bay sheltered from the wind, with pristine water and restaurants close to the beach to enjoy good food, coffee or an iced Sangria in the sun.
In autumn last year we had a cabin close by. We decided to hike a part of the Camí de Ronda, which partly winds along the steep rocky coast of the Costa Brava. Destination was Tamariu and our favorite restaurant for lunch :-)

Herrlich eingerahmt hast Du diese Idylle! Kann ich schon verstehen, daß man dorthin gerne mal zurückkommt.Und die Idee mit dem "favorite place" gefällt mir auch - da muß ich doch mal in meinen Island-Ordner nach was passendem suchen...
